🔔A Wedding Invitation For AWA | Bulletin #86

This week: architects of the Olympics 🏆 thundering waters 💧 and some fall festivities 🍂

Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys 📍 Barcelona, Spain 📸 Laura Weber

The first modern Olympics looked quite similar to today, except standing on the winning pedestals next to javelin throwers, rowers, and wrestlers stood .. architects? That’s right, the founding committee decided that the arts were just as competitive as sports. They awarded 151 medals to artists, designers and architects in the first four decades of the games. Although there was one caveat… all the entered designs had to be related to sports.

Just one problem, they may have forgotten to include a return address. So Emma and Alisha, if you’re reading this, please email us where we should send the goods. Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness <3

In addition to their unique partnership, the farmers found an interesting method to fight off frost, and they have never lost an entire crop since...
