While gin is a beloved spirit across continental Europe, you might be surprised to learn that the world’s largest collection of the juniper liquor actually lives right in Singapore. Housed in a fifteen-meter-tall, Art Deco–style tower, the bar ATLAS truly lives up to its name - serving more than 1300 gins sourced from across the globe. Not too shabby for a small island nation.

HIGH NOTES ON HIGH POLES

This Singaporean club has graced the city-state with its songs since the 1980s. As they have for decades, a symphony of sounds rings from these small singers, inspiring awe and wonder for spectators. Did we mention the vocalists are avian?
