📚 For Your Eyes Only... | Bulletin #106

This week: a stolen brain 🧠 an unusual post office 🏤 and Vegas bits and bobs 🎲

Did you know a fight between architect Frank Lloyd Wright and his son, John, set the blueprint for one of the most iconic American toys?! At just 24, John was working as chief assistant of design on his father's earthquake-proof Imperial Hotel in Tokyo. After a falling out, their relationship crumbled (unlike the hotel!). John then focused his attention on a new, much smaller, build which resulted in the invention of Lincoln Logs. By miniaturizing his father’s method of earthquake safety, John created the iconic toy still used today!
